Financial Situation

The price of commodities does not seem to have been affected by the problems of the banking world and financial system. Prices seem to have topped out for the while. Can anyone out there remember what happened last time the City went into meltdown?

Last time (was it 1992?) things went a little quiet for a while with high priced goods and then went back to normal

This whole thing started out as a storm in a teacup. But, as so often, the storm has been whipped up by the media and has now spilled out into the saucer and is working its way across the whole table, affecting all the crockery in its wake.

I think it might get a bit scary. Wholefoods have just lost 9 million in London and we are all smaller than them.

That was before the banks went haywire. Also there are some big problems with the way WF trade in London. I don't think we are making those sort of cock ups.
What about Rainbow packing in smaller amounts? Or splitting down to singles?
